Okay. I'm going to say it straight: I like Henry McCausland's work.
As soon as I opened his website, I was kicked in the mouth with a ton of great, energetic artwork. He has a strong sense of composition and expresses a great dedication to detail that's usually unseen in the work of most line artists. Not to say that McCausland is exclusively a line artist. His use of color is very well-planned, albeit appearing haphazardly applied. And while his work doesn't shy away from almost whimsical imagery, he embraces it in a way that emphasizes the tension of the subject at hand, serious or not.
